ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S) / EDITOR(S) #
Charles T. Tart is one of the best-known investigators of consciousness in the world. He is the author/editor of the classic collection of readings, Altered States of Consciousness, which is a standar reference work in the field, and of Transpersonal Psychologies, which has also become a classic. Dr. Tart has written dozens of articles in learned journals, as well as in such popular magazines as Psychology Today. He is currently a Professor of Psychology at the Davis campus of the University of California.
